Mushroom Magic

This week I’ve (we’ve) been a little obsessive about mushrooms, there is a video on Netflix called fantastic fungi (https://youtu.be/bxABOiay6oA) while I’m sure they say Fungi wrong, it got me enthralled. The whole mycelial network thing, that I feel and see replicated in our bodies, and in our culture. Super excited. Check it out.

There is a large correlation with the development of organised religion, and mushrooms. Like, to keep it Viking, the Bearzark and Ulfeodnar from Viking myth and legend. These cults were probably Odin/ Wodin cults who worshiped the one-eyed god. While probably hard to kill in battle, due to their elite status and being able to afford metal armour and good weapons. These cults probably used mushrooms to commune with the God of Frenzy, and this may well have given them their mystical status. I’ve not actually witnessed this, but I’ve read it in proper sources, not just Wikipedia that if you feed reindeer fly agaric mushrooms, and then drink the urine of the reindeer then you get to talk to God.

I don’t want to drink reindeer wee.

I don’t want you to either. But each to their own. If you have a pet reindeer let me know.

Spiritual connectivity and personal improvement have involved mushrooms of millennium, why should we not use those magics now? I can’t think of convincing reasons. There is lots of modern magic (science) about micro dosing with some mushrooms, and other about the ability of mushrooms to build neurological connectivity in the brain, and body. I wander if that besides talking to God after taking mushrooms, perhaps others can help us to elevate ourselves to become more powerful? What if, by adding a spoon of dried mushroom to your morning tea or coffee we could unlock previously dormant energies in ourselves, not just etherical, but practically, in the real?

There is more on my Membership group, about how I use mushrooms.
