Sunna Rune Lookup

Sunna is the goddess of life and light. She is feminine in the Nordic pantheon, as the sun brings life in the frozen north.

She is very regular and flows around the words pulling her chariot with the burning disk on it. Her light brings life, warmth and home. Showing the way and allowing all to see.

Sunna (The Sun) is however chased by a wolf, Sköll. Called traitor. Sköll is a very lean and tired wolf as he does not stop, as Sunna does not stop. And, Sköll is ultimately fainted to be out of luck, as Fenrir the giant wolf is destined to get to the sun before Sköll anyway!

Sometimes, just sometimes Sunna takes a rest, and Sköll catches her, and the light of the chariot is dimmed as the wolf grows near. But then she escapes and sheds her light again.

Your Sunna Rune is your guiding light. Your path forward in the world. Where your Sunna Rune appears in your runic starpath is where there is great power.

Birth Rune reading

In the far frozen north it is said that each barn that is born into our word the Nornir and Disir, who weave and manipulate the threads of fate and time, weave all of her/his Wyrd, their fates. This includes the good, the bad and the challenges and gifts the child will experience. This manipulation of the very fabric of time and space has a direct correlation with astrology.

We don’t have historical records for runic astrology, birth runes, or the Northern Tradition view of the sky’s, as the cultural genocide that happened in early medieval and medieval period across Europe. What I relay hear has been channelled from the Goddesses and Gods. To help it make sense to you here is a little guide for you to get your Sunna or Sun rune.

When Odin brought the runes to the people of Midgard, they, the runes, bound themselves to already established patterns in the Wyrd. This is how the runes work, they are pattern markers, and influencers of the weave of the cosmos. Because of the almost magnetic attraction to energetic resonance the runes can be easily applied and indeed do apply themselves to the astrological energies of the solar system.

The gods of Asguard are constantly seeking heroes to do battle at Ragnarök, and this is the design of the Nornir and Disir that map out the Wyrd attached to the birth of each child. They are the destiny makers. These destiny makers inspire us to forge our own heroes’ soul.

Once your destiny makers are set in the cosmic energies of your birth, your Disir, your fate weavers, take up the threads of destiny. Frigg the goddess of the hearth, and woman’s magic (that is another story) has in her household all the Disir, the weavers, and these goddess’ spin down the energies of the cosmos and weave them into your soul tapestry. The runes that are woven into this tapestry of your fate are known as your Glød Vever

When I talk about fate, or density, these things are not set, they are mutable, and changeable. However, what is set in you is your susceptibility to be influenced by the energies of the Wyrd that resonate with your Glød Vever

To help it make sense to you here is a little guide for you to get your Sunna or Sun rune.
